


What I meant by "feeding all of the exposedĢ.0 ports" was that the integrated/built in USB 2.0 hubs on the motherboard "feed" all of the exposed USB A connectors on the computer.

In my case, I didn't have anything else attached to the system (other than a USB 3.0 hub, a USB 2.0 hub, a USB 1.1 hub, and keyboard and mouse). What you have plugged into the other exposed USB ports. However, for the topology test, you have to manually move your device around in different port/hub combinations, but I don't think it matters 1) For most of the tests I had my device attached to the host's USB 3.0 xHCI controller, via a USB 3.0 hub.
